The Greatest True Fart Joke

I was sleeping over at my friend’s house, and I had been the first one to wake up. My best friend Nick, his brother, Jake, and his brother’s friend, Jimmy, were still asleep on the floor of the living room in sleeping bags. I was watching TV on a chair when I saw that Nick was waking up. He blinked a few times and then a vague smile crossed his face. He then quietly declared that he was going to fart in Jimmy’s face. I stifled a laugh and watched as Nick stood up and prepared to instigate conflict. At the last possible moment, Jimmy began to stir and Nick quickly backed off and sat down. Alas, Jimmy was now waking up too. As he blinked the sleep out of his eyes he looked over at Jake, who was still sleeping, then up to us with a wry smile and said with solemn triumph, “Hey guys, I’m going to fart in Jake’s face.”
